August 2004

I wish to thank the fans for all their heartfelt comments concerning "Not Far Away".
Many people have their own stories to tell of family members who are suffering from cancer,
and this stirs very emotional feelings when they hear the song.
Please continue to tell us your thoughts and to share
the experience of listening to this song with others.
Thank you.

May 2004

Martin has created the music for Diana Siegler's beautiful words titled "Not Far Away".
The song is written from the point of view of a child who has died from leukaemia.
It just remains to record the vocals before Diana may hear her completed work,
which is in aid of a childrens' charity.

********

Martin has been invited to take part on the jury of the International Music Festival
in Prague on November 6th this year.
Unfortunately, due to work committments with Smokie, he is unable to attend.
However, the invitation from Ludek Malar is open for the future.

February/March 2004

In the next few weeks Martin and the other members of Smokie
are busy to put the finishing touch to the new CD,
which probably shall be released in August.
And also there will be a nearly three weeks tour
through South Africa in February/March.
So he hardly has time at the moment for his own projects.

January 2004

Martin will be visiting Australia for the whole of January
and plans to visit Uluru, of course,
just to see how awesome it really is and
whether his music fits the scenery.
